[took me 2 hours+]
Dear readers,
being an otaku may seem easy but actually it's really hard!
It may seems like otaku just watch anime, play games, read comics,
but do you really think that's all they do ?
Well, for some otaku, yes, that's all they do...
But for some other otaku, like me though I'm stiill a budding otaku,
we collect figurines like PVC figure, figma, nendoroids, dolfies and so on.
Obviously, buying DVDs of anime, buying comics of the series we like,
and also some that are like me, we enjoy drawing fan arts, drawing our own comic/manga,
or writing our own fanfics, mimic character's voice.
But of course not every otaku do that,
that's what I do, I'm not sure about the others,
but I'm pretty sure there're some other otaku that also do these sorts of activities.
Well, some may do more stuff that's related to anime,
like form a band that does covers fr anime song,
cosplays characters that one favors,
fandub some clips from some anime and so on.
For people who are good in both languages of English and Japanese, some subs some anime series for fans all over the world.
Well, so far, you probably think it's fun doing all these don't you ?
Well, true, very true, doing all these are fun,
but, getting the money to do all these are HARD!
Especially if you're a student like ME!
A student that is not allowed to go out and work part-time!
Without money, you can't buy figurines, DVDs, comics, materials for drawing, outfits and accessories for cosplay use and so on.
Some may experience more hardship than I do, but these alone are hard enough for me to bare,
having to worry about studies and MONEY!
I wouldn't want to always beg my mum to give me money all the time,
she need it to raise me and maintain the house needs too.
But sometimes, there's things that we want too badly and then we tend to force our parents to give us money.
This problem doesn't only happens to us otaku,
it also happens to shopaholics, sports fanatics that always buy merchandise from their favored team and so on.
You must think that these happens to crazy people like us, but you're wrong,
it also happens to BOOKWORMs who reads so much that they buy almost more than 10+ books a month, how much do you think that will cost you.
That's not all,
there's more...and more and more...
But of course,
to ourselves, me, an otaku, wasting money on things you really want gives you a really huge adrenaline rush and feel really complete !
It always happens to me when I buy my figurines, games and sometimes comics.
Here, I almost forgot to mention this very important thing that EVERY otaku MUST DO!
That is....visiting anime conventions!
That is very important for us!
Missing one convention kills us a little by little.
Whether or not you're there to enjoy skits by cosplayers, or to take photos of cosplayers or just to buy stuff there, visiting there is a must!
